ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates has strongly rejected allegations from the Sudanese government claiming it orchestrated drone attacks on an airport in Sudan. In a formal statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the accusations as baseless and characterized them as an attempt to divert attention from the internal challenges facing Sudan.

The UAE emphasized its consistent commitment to supporting a peaceful resolution to the Sudanese conflict and reiterated its call for a comprehensive ceasefire.

Diplomatic tensions have escalated as the UAE maintains that its involvement in Sudan remains strictly humanitarian. Officials urged the international community to focus on the urgent needs of the Sudanese people rather than engaging in unsubstantiated political narratives.

The UAE continues to advocate for a political dialogue that ensures stability and protects the sovereignty of the Sudanese state
