Dubai Sets Standardised Adahi Prices for Hajj 2026

Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities has approved unified pricing for sacrificial animals (Adahi) for the 1447 AH (2026) Hajj season, in coordination with accredited charities and humanitarian organisations across the emirate.

The newly announced rates set Dh800 for a Somali sacrifice carried out and distributed within the UAE, Dh350 for a sacrifice performed and distributed in the donor’s chosen country abroad, and Dh490 for Ethiopian or Kenyan sacrifices slaughtered overseas and distributed within the UAE.

The initiative aims to standardise pricing among approved charitable entities, reducing discrepancies and ensuring greater transparency and clarity for donors. Authorities said the move also supports better resource management and fair service delivery, while ensuring aid reaches underprivileged families and vulnerable groups both locally and internationally.

Officials confirmed that the pricing structure was developed in coordination with approved suppliers and is subject to strict regulatory oversight. The process will be supervised by accredited charities in Dubai, working closely with donors who perform the Hajj sacrifice through trusted humanitarian channels.

The step forms part of broader efforts by Dubai to enhance efficiency and accountability in charitable initiatives, while aligning with best practices in humanitarian support during the Hajj season.
