30 Killed in Passenger Truck Crash in Northern Nigeria
At least 30 people were killed and several others injured after a passenger truck crashed in northern Nigeria, authorities said on Sunday.
The accident occurred in the town of Kwanar Bardi, in the Gizaawa area of Kano State, after the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle due to reckless driving, according to a statement from the state governor’s office.
Officials said the truck was carrying both passengers and goods and was en route to the town of Gojonggo in Kano State when it crashed early Sunday morning.
