Protests Erupt in Greenland’s Nuuk After Trump Threatens Takeover and Imposes Tariffs
Protest erupts in Nuuk, Greenland, following President Trump’s threats to take over the territory.
On Saturday, Trump announced he was imposing new tariffs until a deal on Greenland was made.
“Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Finland have journeyed to Greenland, for purposes unknown”, Trump said.
“This is a very dangerous situation for the Safety, Security, and Survival of our Planet,” Trump added, as he explained his new 10% and 25% tariffs.
“This Tariff will be due and payable until a Deal is reached for the Complete and Total purchase of Greenland.”
