Saudi-backed Yemeni Coalition Warns of Direct Action Against Separatist Threats
The Saudi Arabia-backed Yemeni regional coalition has warned that it is prepared to take direct action in response to any military challenge posed by separatist forces.
Speaking on Saturday, coalition spokesperson General Turki al-Malki said the group is ready to intervene “directly and at the appropriate moment” to protect civilians, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The statement comes amid ongoing tensions in Yemen, with the coalition stressing that the safety of civilian lives remains its top priority.
