The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), the region’s largest event of its kind, continues to strengthen its position as a global platform celebrating the UAE’s rich heritage and culture, while also showcasing traditions from around the world. This year, participants from 68 countries are taking part, offering visitors a wide range of activities and events.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the exhibition is organized by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, in cooperation with the Emirates Falconers’ Club. The 2025 edition features live shows and interactive zones highlighting authentic Emirati traditions, including falconry, camel racing, Saluki hunting, and equestrian sports.

With the theme “Heritage Renewed,” ADIHEX 2025 aims to inspire new generations by connecting them with the UAE’s cultural roots and the historical significance of these traditions in shaping national identity.

The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research participates as a knowledge partner, hosting lectures and sessions on the role of hunting and equestrianism in Emirati history. The Encyclopedia of Emirati Leadership is also present to help pass on this heritage to future generations.

Cultural and heritage organizations are offering interactive experiences throughout the exhibition. The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center showcases falconry, hunting, and the Saluki, while the National Academy for Childhood Development hosts workshops to promote the Arabic language and national identity. The Abu Dhabi Sports Council offers practical activities in shooting, fencing, polo, and water sports, alongside traditional handicraft demonstrations.

The Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority provides family-friendly activities, traditional fashion shows, and a virtual tour of the Al Dhafra Festival. Visitors can also engage with the “Million’s Poet” program and experience an authentic Emirati Majlis.

International participation is strong this year. Japan is represented by 63 exhibitors, offering falconry demonstrations, tea ceremonies, musical performances, and live katana sword-making. Several African countries are also featured, including South Africa and Botswana, presenting safari experiences, wildlife encounters, and luxury hospitality.

ADIHEX 2025 promises to be the most diverse edition in its history, blending the UAE’s rich past with a global outlook for the future, presenting Emirati heritage to the world.
