Former Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Shot Dead in Lviv

Andriy Parubiy, a former speaker of the Ukrainian parliament, was shot dead on Saturday in the western city of Lviv, authorities confirmed.
Police said the attack involved a hail of bullets but did not immediately provide further details.
President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the killing, calling it a “horrific murder,” and promised a full investigation into the incident. Parubiy was a well-known politician who served as parliamentary speaker during the 2010s.
