Thailand’s Constitutional Court has removed suspended Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and her entire cabinet from office on Friday.
The court ruled that Paetongtarn failed to meet the ethical standards required of a prime minister. The case centered on a leaked phone call in June with former Cambodian leader Hun Sen, which raised concerns during a border dispute between the two countries.
The nine-judge panel concluded that her actions undermined her role, leading to her dismissal along with her cabinet.
