Putin Meets Iranian Advisor to Discuss Middle East Tensions and Nuclear Issues
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting at the Kremlin with Ali Larijani, a senior advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader on nuclear matters, according to a statement by the Kremlin on Sunday.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Larijani shared Iran’s views on the growing tensions in the Middle East, as well as developments surrounding the Iranian nuclear programme.
While no further details were disclosed, the meeting highlights Russia’s ongoing diplomatic engagement in the region amid rising regional instability.
