Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Calls for West Bank Sovereignty

Saudi Arabia strongly condemned recent remarks made by an Israeli official calling for sovereignty over the occupied West Bank, calling the statement a clear violation of international resolutions.
In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs firmly rejected any plans or actions aimed at expanding Israeli settlements on Palestinian land. The Kingdom stressed the need for Israel to be held accountable to international laws and UN resolutions.
Saudi Arabia also reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights. It reiterated its backing for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital — in line with international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
