New Millennium School Bahrain hosts ‘Viksit Bharat Run’

In a spirited display of unity, patriotism, and commitment to nation-building, New Millennium School Bahrain, proudly hosted the ‘Viksit Bharat Run’ in association with the Embassy of India, Kingdom of Bahrain, on Thursday.
The event, which was an initiative aligned with the vision of a developed India – Viksit Bharat@2047, was graced by the esteemed presence of H.E. Mr. Vinod K Jacob, the Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, along with a full delegation of Embassy officials, school leadership, faculty and students.
The event commenced with a ceremonial welcome for the Honourable Ambassador, followed by a brief address highlighting the importance of youth participation in shaping the future of India. The Ambassador applauded the school’s efforts in promoting the spirit of Viksit Bharat through such community-driven initiatives and emphasized the role of the Indian diaspora in this national movement.
The run saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and embassy members. The route, set within and around the school’s sports arena, resonated with slogans and chants celebrating India’s journey towards a prosperous and inclusive future.
Principal Dr. Arun Kuumar Sharma expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador and the Embassy officials, for supporting the school in initiating the run, which added immense value and motivation for the students and staff. School Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai and Managing Director Mrs Geetha Pillai congratulated the school for the successful conduct of the run which was a reaffirmation of the school’s commitment to contribute towards the development of the nation’s goals.
