Special Dussehra Assembly Presentation at BIS
Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School’s Kindergarten section celebrated the festival of Dussehra with great enthusiasm through a Special Assembly Presentation, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India in a vibrant and engaging manner.
The young students, dressed in beautiful traditional attire, opened the event with a joyful Dandiya performance that filled the atmosphere with rhythm and colour. This was followed by a thoughtful skit depicting the epic tale of Lord Ram and Ravana, reinforcing the universal values of truth, courage, and the triumph of good over evil.
The assembly also featured captivating dance performances by the children, which were met with applause and admiration. To nurture creativity and festive spirit, the celebration concluded with hands-on craft activities, allowing students to design colourful artwork inspired by Dussehra traditions.
Principal Mr Saji Jacob remarked, “This celebration highlighted more than a cultural showcase; it paved the way for our students to learn life values while experiencing joy and teamwork.” BIS Directors Mr Himanshu Verma and Mrs Ritu Verma expressed their delight, stating, “Watching the little ones embrace tradition with such passion and confidence was truly heart-warming. The celebration beautifully reflected the values of unity, creativity, and cultural pride that BIS stands for.”
The event was a memorable occasion that blended festivity, learning, and cultural pride, leaving both students and teachers enriched by the spirit of Dussehra celebration.
