ISB posts outstanding CBSE results in Classes X and XII

The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) has celebrated a landmark academic achievement, with students delivering exceptional results in both the CBSE Class X and XII examinations held in March.

All 832 students who appeared for the Class X exams passed, marking a perfect 100% pass rate. Among them, 69 students earned A grades in all subjects, with 19 students securing A1 grades throughout. Devarath Jeevan topped the cohort with 491 out of 500 marks (98.2%), followed by Rajeevan Rajkumar (97.6%), and joint third-place holders Deva Nanda Periyal and Jomiya Knnanaikkal Joseph (97.4%).

High individual subject scores included full marks in Malayalam (4 students), French (2), Science (2), Sanskrit (1), and Mathematics (1), with several others scoring 99 in English, Tamil, and Social Science. Meanwhile, ISB’s Class XII students also impressed, with 631 candidates achieving an overall pass rate of 98.73%. Joel Sabu emerged as the school topper with a record-setting 493 marks (98.6%)—the highest ever at the school in CBSE physical exams. Sreya Manoj followed closely with 492 marks (98.4%), and Aradhya Kanodathil secured third place with 488 marks (97.6%).

All 55 students in the Humanities stream passed, led by Sreya Manoj. The Science stream saw a 99.67% pass rate, while Commerce achieved 97.37%. Streamwise toppers included Abhinav Vinu and Krishna Rajeevan Nair (Science), and Esha Ashutosh Mairal and Uthra Nachammai Kannan Karuppan Chetty (Commerce).
