Car enthusiasts from Bahrain joined participants from across the region — including Lebanon, India, and the UAE — for the ‘Celebrate McLaren’ Community Drive and Gala Reception in Dubai.
Bahraini McLaren owners and fans gathered at the Arabian Ranches Golf Club, where various McLaren models were on display, including the 12C, 675LT, 765LT, 750S, Artura, and the McLaren P1™. The event brought together drivers, guests, and media for a day focused on the brand’s vehicles and design history.
A key part of the programme was the Community Drive, which saw 65 McLaren cars drive to the top of Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest point. The winding mountain roads provided a real-world setting for drivers to test handling and performance.
Back in Dubai, guests took part in a reception at Bluewaters Forum by Delano. The evening included talks, networking, and a shared interest in the McLaren brand.
“Owning a McLaren isn’t just about the car itself — it’s about being part of a long-standing motorsports and engineering tradition,” said Robert Holtshausen, Market Director for McLaren Middle East, India and Africa. “Events like this allow us to bring together the community and acknowledge that shared history.”
