The first Saudi robot, "Sara," welcomes guests at the Saudi Digital Pavilion who are taking part in the events of the international technical conference LEAP 2023, with a greeting in the local dialect.

In its second edition, LEAP 2023 was launched under the theme "Towards New Horizons". It will run until February 9.

"Sara", manufactured in cooperation between Saudi Digital and QSS Company, can communicate and interact with all visitors, perform all popular dances, and respond to their inquiries, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reports.

"Sara" features a camera operating with artificial intelligence, can recognize the distance of people standing in front of it, and starts the dialogue after the visitor welcomes her with "Hello Sara."

The robot also has a pre-trained model that recognizes the different Saudi dialects, analyzes sentences and understands their content, provides the appropriate answer and sends it in the form of text.
