New collection combines an all-black aesthetic with metallic accents, enhanced detailing and G-SHOCK’s signature durability

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, September 2, 2026: G-SHOCK has unveiled its new LUXE BLACK Series, bringing a more refined and minimalist interpretation to its iconic 2100 design.

The new collection comprises the GM-2100LXB and GA-2100LXB series, featuring deep black tones, subtle metallic accents and understated detailing. The designs retain the distinctive character of G-SHOCK while introducing a cleaner aesthetic intended to complement a range of styles beyond seasonal trends.

The watch dials feature a fine micro-textured matte finish designed to reduce reflections and add depth to the black surface. Slimmer hour and minute hands, redesigned vapor-deposited hour markers and carefully positioned minute markers further sharpen the appearance while maintaining readability.

Silver and gold accents provide contrast while preserving the collection’s predominantly monochrome look. Across the four models, metallic details appear on the inset dials, hour markers and around the perimeter of the glass, producing varying levels of shine depending on the light.

The GM-2100LXB offers a more structured design with a stainless-steel bezel featuring a hairline finish and black ion plating. A textured urethane band continues the matte treatment across the strap. The GM-2100LXB-1A incorporates silver accents, while the GM-2100LXB-1A9 features gold detailing.

The resin-based GA-2100LXB retains the collection’s distinctive octagonal bezel and is paired with a dimpled urethane band. The GA-2100LXB-1A features silver vapor deposition on the hour markers, while the GA-2100LXB-1A9 uses gold accents to provide a warmer contrast against the black design.

Despite its focus on aesthetics, the LUXE BLACK Series maintains G-SHOCK’s performance characteristics. All four models are shock resistant and offer 200-metre water resistance. The GA-2100LXB models also feature Carbon Core Guard construction.

The collection incorporates bio-based resin in key components of the bands and in the bezel of the GA-2100LXB, with the material expected to help reduce environmental impact.

In terms of functionality, the watches offer world time across 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, five daily alarms and a full auto-calendar extending through 2099.

A double LED Super Illuminator provides illumination for both the watch face and digital display. The hand-shift function also moves the hands away from the digital display, allowing it to be viewed without obstruction.

With its matte black finish, restrained detailing and subtle silver and gold accents, the G-SHOCK LUXE BLACK Series gives the familiar 2100 silhouette a more understated and refined character while retaining the durability and functionality associated with the brand.
