HH Shaikh Khalid congratulated by Horse Welfare Authority Chairman

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, has received a cable of congratulations from Shaikh Duaij bin Salman bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Board of Directors Chairman of the Horse Welfare Authority on the success of KHK Racing’s colt, “Vandeek”, in claiming the Sumbe Prix Morny (G1) after clinching the first place in the 1200-metre race at Deauville, France.
Shaikh Duaij bin Salman asserted that KHK’s victory adds to the achievements attained by Bahrain’s equestrian and horseracing sport thanks to the constant care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, commending the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He also praised the distinguished performance of colt “Vandeek” throughout the race, wishing HH Shaikh Khalid and KHK team continued success.
