Al Ettihad clinch BBA Cup

Al Ettihad were last night crowned champions of the 2022/2023 Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) Cup.
Ettihad claimed the glittering trophy after defeating defending league champions Manama 116-113 in overtime in the one-off final, played at the Zain Basketball Arena in Um Al Hassam.
Regulation ended deadlocked at 101-apiece, forcing the five-minute extra session.
Adrian Uter top scored for Ettihad with 35 points, while Ali Ghadeer added 13, Mohammed Ghazwan 15 and Sayed Mohammed Hameed 14 points.
For Manama, Elijah Robinson was the top scorer in the loss with 34 points, while Hasan Nowrooz added 27 and Ahmed Hasan Alderazi 25.
Bahrain Basketball Association president Captain Waleed Al Alawi was on hand to award Ettihad their trophy and medals at the end of the game.
The BBA Cup was a national tournament in which Bahrain’s basketball clubs competed in rosters without any players on the Kingdom’s national teams.
