Tratnik wins Slovenian time trial title again

Bahrain Victorious rider Jan Tratnik retained his title as Individual Time Trial National Champion of Slovenia. He won for the second straight year after completing the event’s 28.8km course with a time of 35 minutes 22 seconds, as fellow Bahrain Victorious teammate Matej Mohoric took second place just eight seconds behind him.
“Today’s time trial was quite hard,” said Tratnik. “I had good legs today, I felt good before the race and I am happy I have defended the National title.”
The latest signing for Bahrain Victorious, Matevz Govekar, also put in a solid performance, taking fourth overall and becoming the U23 Slovenian ITT National Champion. Govekar said: ”I am happy with today’s race, I made the first real chronometer since I have been on a road bike, so I am very happy.”
