Shaikh Ahmed visits Liverpool FC, meets with legendary players

Riffa Club board member Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa visited English Premier League giants Liverpool FC in the UK, where he was welcomed by club legends Sir Kenny Dalglish MBE and Ian Rush MBE.
During his visit, Shaikh Ahmed celebrated with Liverpool members their winning the Carabao Cup trophy in Wembley and also attended a few matches.
Shaikh Ahmed presented the club a commemorative gift, which he handed over to Dalglish and Rush. Shaikh Ahmed, who is the ex-director of Bahrain’s under-23 Olympic football team, is a huge Liverpool fan.
He has strong ties with the club, and last year organised the visit of Rush to Bahrain, when he enjoyed a tour of various locations across the Kingdom.
