Bahrain Deaf Futsal Side Lose 6-0 to Oman

Bahrain’s national deaf futsal team’s hopes of finishing among the leading sides at the first Asian Deaf Futsal Cup faded further after a 6-0 defeat by Oman in Kyrgyzstan.
The loss, Bahrain’s second in a row, left the side without a point after two rounds, following an 8-4 defeat by Saudi Arabia in their opening match.
Bahrain now face a difficult path in the group stage, with the top three places carrying direct qualification for the 2027 Winter Deaflympics in Austria.
The team will return to action against Uzbekistan on Wednesday, July 1, before facing hosts Kyrgyzstan on Thursday, July 2. They will end their first-round campaign against Kazakhstan on Saturday, July 4.
Bahrain will be seeking to steady themselves in the remaining matches and end their continental campaign on a stronger note.
