FIBA Foundation Board reviews global basketball development plans
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and Board Member of the FIBA Foundation, participated in the Foundation’s regular Board of Directors meeting held on Monday, June 22, 2026, via video conference, with the participation of board members and representatives of the International Basketball Federation.
The meeting discussed several agenda items related to the Foundation’s projects and programs aimed at using basketball as a tool to promote community development and reinforce human and educational values across different regions of the world.
Members also reviewed key initiatives implemented during the previous period, along with ongoing and future plans designed to expand the Foundation’s global impact.
The meeting forms part of the Board’s continued efforts to monitor the Foundation’s work and ensure the effective implementation of international programs that aim to create a positive and sustainable impact through basketball worldwide.
