Shaheen Group clinches victory in BKS Seven-A-Side Cricket Tournament

The Bahrain Kerala Samajam (BKS) Indoor Games Section successfully concluded a spirited seven-a-side cricket tournament, which saw enthusiastic participation from various Indian expatriate clubs in the Kingdom. The matches were held under the lights at the Samajam Floodlight Ground, creating a vibrant atmosphere for players and spectators alike.
A total of 20 teams, divided into four competitive groups, battled for the top spot throughout the event. In the final showdown held on Sunday, April 19, the Shaheen Group team delivered a stellar performance to secure the championship title. The Spartans team finished as the worthy runners-up after a closely contested match.
Following the final, an award ceremony was held where trophies and mementos were presented to the winners and runners-up. The awards were distributed by the BKS Assistant Secretary, Indoor Games Secretary, Membership Secretary, and the Librarian. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Tournament Convener Rajesh Kototh, who appreciated the sportsmanship shown by all the participants and the efforts of the organizing team.
