Bahrain Flag-Raising Ceremony Ahead of Asian Youth Games
Bahrain proudly raised its national flag at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, marking a symbolic milestone in the countdown to the 3rd Asian Youth Games.
The ceremony was attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia for the Asian Youth Games.
Joining His Highness at the event were Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, CEO of the General Sports Authority, and Mr. Yousef Daej, Chairman of the Games’ Executive Committee.
The flag-raising ceremony reflected Bahrain’s readiness to welcome young athletes from across Asia to a celebration of unity, sportsmanship, and youth empowerment. With just days remaining until the opening of the Games, the Kingdom showcased its commitment to delivering a world-class sporting event that embodies the spirit of the Asian Olympic movement.
The 3rd Asian Youth Games will be hosted under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, reaffirming Bahrain’s growing stature as a hub for major international sporting events.
