ISB YOUTH FESTIVAL TARANG 2015
The Indian School Bahrain(ISB) Youth Festival TARANG concluded on Friday with a grand finale held at the Jashanmal Auditorium. The prestigious Kalaratna Award was presented to Devisree Sumesh of V-E, Aryabhatta House and the Kalashri Award was presented to Kartik Madhusoodananan of X-V, Vikram Sarabhai House. A total of 912 trophies were distributed to the winners of 126 competitions, which were conducted over a period of five days.
Following are the Group Champions: Level A: Nikitha Krishnadas Nair of XII-N, Aryabhatta House; Level B: Ashna Varghese of X- K, Vikram Sarabhai House; Level C: Meenakshi Pramod Nambiar of VII- J, J C Bose House; Vigneshwari Natarajan Swapnapratha of V- B, Aryabhatta House.
House Stars are: Gayathri Vipin of VIII-U, Aryabhatta House; Harshitha Gopinathan Nambiar of XII-D, C V Raman House; Sneha Muralidharan of VI-A, J C Bose House; Athul Krishna Gopakumar of VI-Q, Vikram Sarabhai House.
ISB Students, parents, Executive Committee Members , school officials and staff attended the event which was held under the patronage of the Chief Guest BACA Director of Art & Culture Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa. Guests of Honour were Indian Embassy Second Secreatry Anand Prakash and noted film maker and Acting General Director for Radio and Television, Information Affairs Authority Bassam Mohammed Al Thawadi.
