St Christophers School Bahrain Harvest and Zakat Assemblies
Manama : St Christophers School organised Harvest and Zakat Assemblies. Primary School children attended the Zakat Assembly in the Infant Hall led by the St Chris Arabic Department. The Harvest Festival Assembly was held in the Junior Hall, led by the Very Reverend Chris Butt of St Christopher’s Cathedral.
As is traditional at these assemblies, St Chris families donate food which is then distributed to those in need. We donate both to the Seafarers Association and to Maqaba Charity Fund. The children feel a sense of reward having helped those less fortunate than themselves, school officials said.
