This was announced by IIMUN, Bahrain Regional Co-ordinator Apoorvee Singhal.  Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN) is one of World's premier leading youth organization that strives to provide and create unforgettable academic experiences through a simulation of the very United Nations. It has established its presence in 108 cities and have been associated with various conglomerates in India and abroad. It has to its credit the World's Largest MUN conference and has its Rules of Procedure adopted in close to 2700 institutions across the globe.

‘This time, we aim to host the largest MUN Conference in Bahrain with over 700 delegates from 20 plus schools and provide a unique platform for students in Bahrain and showcase their true potential,  said Ms. Niyati Khanna- Director General, IIMUN Bahrain & Vice President, Indian International MUN. The opening ceremony will take place on April 28 Thursday at 5pm in the presence of Indian Ambassador, Mr. Alok Kumar Sinha and UNIC Director, Mr. Samir Aldarabi. In addition, IIMUN has received support from Dr. Mona Rashid Al Zayani - CEO, Al Zayani Group & Chairperson of Gulf University.

Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations that  aims to educate participants about current events. The participants role play as diplomats representing a nation or NGO in a simulations session (committee ) of the United Nations ,such as the Security Council or the General Assembly.

Participants research a country, take on roles as diplomats, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult and then develop solutions to world problems. Model UN delegates also look closely at the needs, aspirations, and foreign policy of the country they will "represent" at the event. The insights they gain from their exploration of history, geography, mathematics, culture, economics, and science contribute to the authenticity of the simulations once the actual role-playing gets underway, and ensures a lively and memorable experience.  As many states move to implement standards for global citizenship, Model UN is proving to be an innovative resource to prepare students for career and college success.

Indian International Model United Nations(IIMUN) believes in the concept, for the youth and by the youth since it is completely run by young students in the age group of 16 to 23 years.  It was started in 2011 by a young and dynamic individual, who is also the Founder President, Mr. Rishabh Shah.  He was only 18 years old at that time and wanted to do something which benefited the educational sector in India & abroad. The aim to start this organisation was to give the youth a platform to voice their opinions about the current affairs in the world and give the students an international exposure of conferences in India itself. He wanted to make this platform a reliable and established one so that students would come up with solutions that are unique and enhance global citizenship and promoting world peace. As the chapter in Bahrain unfolds, IIMUN has just completed its conference in Vellore and organising IIMUN Mumbai this weekend with 7500+ delegates across 4 venues in the commercial capital.

Hence, it was also suggested that the best draft resolution of the IIMUN Conference would be forwarded to the United Nations said Ms. Khanna.
