Bahrain Chapter of ICAI organises session on ‘Rise of The Indian Elite’

The Bahrain Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI) organized a technical session under the theme " RISE OF THE INDIAN ELITE ", couple of days back, where we had the privilege of hosting one of the most prominent and distinguished speaker Saurabh Mukherjea, founder of Marcellus Investment and author of multiple bestselling books.

The session was inaugurated by Sthanumurthy Viswanathan Meera, Chairperson of BCICAI, who welcomed the guests and extended his warm wishes to all the members for the holy month of RAMADAN.

He then went on to highlight the activities & session of the chapter which are lined up for the near future.

The Chairperson then went on to introduce the topic for the evening and explained its relevance in the current market trends.

Saurabh then explained about the parameters which led to the growth of HNI’s in India, the evolving dynamics of the Indian elite circle, mirroring the growth stories of HNI’s for accelerating personal wealth, factors augmenting the growth of new age founders, technological advancement that are taking place in Industries, how to create a balanced and growing portfolio, etc.

The key note speech was followed by an interactive Q&A session, where in the participants raised various queries for which the speaker gave this thoughts and insights.

The evening also saw the celebration of Bahrain Chapter of ICAI winning the 1st Prize for Best Chapter Overseas Award for the year 2023 in Category II (101 to 500 members).

The celebration followed a small ceremony where the Chairperson Sthanumurthy Viswanathan Meera and the immediate past chairperson Sharmila Seth joined to cut the cake with the presence of all the previous chairpersons, mentors and executive committees of both terms.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Arunkumar Rajagopalan, Excom member of BCICAI. The session attracted one of the largest participations of close to 125 members.
