Banagas marks 8 million Man-Hours without Lost Time Accidents

The Bahrain National Gas Company (Banagas) said it achieved another milestone by completing 8 million man-hours without any lost time accidents on March 6. Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Company’s Chief Executive, said: “This achievement was reached due to the Company employees’ commitment to the principles of safety and their full awareness of the value of professional responsibility, considering the challenges faced during COVID-19 pandemic”.
Dr Shaikh Mohammed praised the unlimited support the Company receives from the Kingdom’s wise leadership and stressed the important role portrayed by the Company’s Board of Directors in taking Bahrain National Gas Company (Banagas) to the highest levels.
Looking ahead, the Chief Executive stated that the next goal is to achieve 9 million working hours without a lost-time accident. He also expressed confidence that the employees’ continued vigilance and keenness to implement safety measures in their work field would ultimately achieve this goal.
