Alba announces new chief marketing officer
Alba has officially announced the appointment of Khalid Abdul Latif as their Chief Marketing Officer to lead the company’s global marketing strategies.
Mr Latif joined Alba as an apprentice in 1989 and worked in various operational areas including Power, Potlines and Carbon. He was subsequently made Supervisor followed by Superintendent. In 2012, he was promoted to Manager of Engineering and then made Alba’s Marketing Manager for Customer Service & Market Operations. In February 2015, Latif was appointed as the Acting Chief Marketing Officer.
An MBA from the French Arabian Business School/ESSEC (Bahrain), Latif holds a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from Gulf University in Bahrain as well as a Diploma in Mechatronics from Abertay University, Dundee, UK.
