Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company (BCFC), one of the Kingdom’s most trusted financial institutions, has launched “Tasheelat Islamic” – its first‑ever Islamic finance window – to coincide with the holy month of Ramadan. This historic step reflects BCFC’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its custom‑ ers, offering Sharia‑compliant financing backed by the com‑ pany’s decades of expertise and dedication to serving the Bahraini community.

Driven by its belief in finan‑ cial inclusion, BCFC launched the Islamic window to bring Sharia‑compliant financing within reach of more cus‑ tomers. Starting with vehicle financing, the company will soon expand to personal and real estate financing – offering a complete suite of Islamic products. Every solution is built on transparency, Sha‑ ria compliance, competitive benefits, and flexible terms designed around the custom‑ er’s needs.

Mr. Bukhowa affirmed that the company will continue to invest in developing and expanding its Islamic products progressively, strengthening its market position and meeting the growing needs of customers. He noted that this launch is the result of inten‑ sive efforts and in‑depth mar‑ ket studies conducted over several months to ensure the delivery of high‑quality products that compete with the best available in the market.

To ensure the highest lev‑ els of compliance with Sharia standards and principles, the company announced the appointment of a specialized Sharia Supervisory Board to oversee all products and services of the Islamic window throughouttheir development and implementation stages. The board comprises a distinguished group of scholars and specialists recognized for their competence and expertise in Islamic financial jurisprudence: Sheikh Dr. Osama Bahr as Chairman of the Sha‑ ria Supervisory Board, and Sheikh Dr. Naji Al Arabi and Sheikh Waleed Al Mahmood as members. The board will be responsible for reviewing and approving all financing products, contracts, and procedures related to the Islamic window, ensuring their full compliance with Islamic Sharia principles, thereby provid‑ ing customers with complete peace of mind and confidence in the integrity of their finan‑ cial transactions.
