Marking the International Day of Older Persons, the Happiness Committee of the Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) paid a special visit to the Muharraq Social Welfare Centre. The event was held at the center’s premises in Muharraq Governorate.
Fatema Al Majid, ASRY’s Corporate Communications Manager, stressed the importance of actively embedding the principles of community partnership, considering it a key pillar of institutional success. She added that marking the International Day of Older Persons is in line with ASRY’s continuous support for the community and its institutions, encourages a culture of giving and respect towards the elderly, and upholds the social solidarity ideals that are fundamental to Bahraini society.
