BenefitPay earns global security seal

BenefitPay users in Bahrain can now make tap-to-pay purchases with added peace of mind after BENEFIT, the Kingdom’s leading fintech company, secured a global certification for its Tap and Go service.

The company has officially received the Payment Card Industry Token Service Provider (PCI TSP) certification. This global standard means that whenever customers tap their phones to pay, their card details are never shared with the store or payment machine. Instead, the information is replaced with secure digital codes that cannot be misused.

Everyday protection

The Tap and Go feature inside the BenefitPay app already lets users pay instantly by tapping their mobile devices on payment terminals. With this certification, those transactions are now confirmed to be as safe as international standards require, ensuring both speed and security in everyday shopping.
