Midal Cables launches MiRecAL

Midal Cables proudly announces the launch of MiRecAL, a new line of aluminium wire rod recycled products developed in alignment with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s goal to achieve net-zero emissions by 2060.

The launch reflects the company’s continued commitment to advancing sustainability in the industry.

The MiRecAL line includes two recycled variants containing 15% and 30% recycled aluminium, respectively. These products deliver estimated reductions in greenhouse gas emissions of up to 29% compared to conventional aluminium rod manufacturing.

“This is a practical shift toward more sustainable industrial processes,” said Khalid A. Latif, CEO of Midal Cables Group. “It reflects how our industry can actively support national and global emissions targets while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.”

Manufactured in Bahrain, MiRecAL products comply with international standards (IEC, EN, and ASTM) and meet the requirements of ISO 14021:2016.

This initiative builds on Midal Cables’ long-standing approach to responsible manufacturing and reinforces its role in supporting sustainability within the regional and global power and infrastructure sectors.
