New Horizon School welcome students for New Year

The New Horizon School gave its students a “virtual” warm welcome for the new year.
The teachers organised a special assembly for their students. The programme began with the school prayer, while a special puppet show was presented by the kindergarten teachers on the theme “Never Believe in Rumors and Never to Follow Anyone Blindly.”
This was followed by the new year song presented by the students of Grade 6. The teachers entertained the students with a comical skit entitled “The New Normal...”. This act enacted the challenges faced during online teaching, learning and how the teacher overcomes the situation patiently, striving hard to make the teaching-learning experience fun and meaningful.
The keynote address was presented by acting principal Leena Verma who wished the students a happy and blessed 2021 with new hope and beginnings. After the singing of the Indian national anthem, the vote of thanks was given by Zahida Kulkarni who wished everyone a blessed new year while lauding the hard work of everyone to make this program a success.
