Ombudsman Office adds application, WhatsApp for communication

The Ombudsman Office has added an application and a WhatsApp number for communication with the public. The move is in line with the preventive measures to ensure the safety of the people by minimising direct contact as authorities work on curbing the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
People can download the free application from Google Play Store and Apple App Store or use the 13308888 number on WhatsApp, in addition to the existing e-mail and regular letters, the office said. Those whose personal presence is required on the premises will be contacted by the office, it added.
