BOC General Secretary praises Shaikh Nasser for team's Triathlon win

His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa was congratulated by Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar on the Bahraini Triathlon and Endurance Team 13 finish at Ironman 70.3 World Championship.
Shaikh Nasser, the BOC president, was also the leader of the Bahraini team at the event held in Zell am See in Austria, where the team finished among the top teams. Daniela Ryf mastered the women’s competition and Jan Frodeno dominated the men’s group to play prominent parts in the team’s achievement.
Askar lauded the achievement and commended the team efforts, which complements the previous ones made under the support of Bahrain’s leadership and Shaikh Nasser and enhances Bahrain’s international standing.
