We will win medals, says HH Shaikh Khalid
Bahrain can be confident of winning medals at the IMMAF World Championship, thanks to the wealth of talent on the Bahraini side, assured HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Having won several medals last year, Bahrain is set to continue its impressive run in the IMMAF by picking up from where it left off last year, opined Shaikh Khalid. He was speaking to Tribune on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of the 2018 IMMAF World Championship last evening.
“InshahAllah, we will have medals,” he said. Commenting on his the launch of KHK Heroes and his friendly bout with Mohammed Buhazaa’a, Shaikh Khalid said that the initiative was something he “always wanted to do” and that he is glad to have launched it now. “Mohammed is a brave individual, we trained him for three weeks and he did exactly what we trained him to do. He has proved that nothing is impossible.”
