Sehati scheme on track
Manama : The Government is committed to shouldering the costs of health insurance for all citizens, said Supreme Council for Health (SCH) President Lieutenant-General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa yesterday.
During a live interaction with the public via InstaLive, Dr Shaikh Mohammed reiterated that the services would be expanded and improved for the sake of patients.
The one-hour session which started on Sunday at 4:00 PM was moderated by media figure Sami Hejris. Dr Shaikh Mohammed said the National Insurance Scheme (Sehati) has achieved tangible progress, expressing that the Council of Representatives would endorse the law.
