Ayadi Relief launches Waqf Al Ata's project

Manama

Ayadi Relief Organization has launched its new project, Waqf Al Ata'a, to raise funds to acquire profitable residential or commercial multistory buildings in Bahrain.

Revenue generated from the project would support its relief and rehabilitation projects in Bahrain and poverty stricken communities around the world.

The organization is a group of Bahraini youths who came together in 2010 for the love of volunteer work. With the growth of Ayadi Relief’s projects in Bahrain and abroad, the organization had to look for sustainable financial income source to support the current and future humanitarian projects.

Speaking to Board member of Ayadi Relief’s Waqf Al Ata’a project, Raja Khalifa explained, “We aim to provide vulnerable communities with educational and social support and emergency relief. We encourage direct involvement of youth in all humanitarian projects, trips and events regardless of their specialization.”

She added, “When we established Ayadi Relief, we promised the public that the whole of their donations would go directly to the projects they funded. We are finding alternate ways to cover our operating expenses. We are currently targeting the public, and expecting generous donators to take part in our new project. Corporates will be approached at a later stage of the campaign.”
