INVITA Certified with PCI-DSS
Manama : Invita, a regional Business Process Outsourcing leader, has achieved PCI-DSS v3.2 compliance certification. With this Invita has become one of the First BPO in the region to received ISO 9001:2008 as well as PCI DSS v3.2 certification.
PCI-DSS stands for Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standards, developed by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, consisting of best practices for handling Customer Credit & Debit Card transactions and the Data Security practices in handling of Sensitive Data, in order to prevent fraud.
All banks in Bahrain are required to comply with PCI-DSS this year. Invita has been working with many of these banks, and took the initiative to achieve PCI-DSS compliance.
Talking about the company’s initiative, Invita CEO Rahul Bhalla said, “With this certification, known as the highest level of validation for payment card data security, it is indeed a significant milestone achievement for Invita.”
