‘Strengthen GCC-Arab ties'
Manama : His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s interests in upgrading cooperation with Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and strengthening GCC and Arab cooperation.
The Prime Minister was receiving Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain and the Dean of Diplomatic Corps, Shaikh Azzam bin Mubarak Al-Sabah in the presence of Royal Family members.
Reviewing the regional and international issues, the HRH the Prime Minister said that the current scenario requires every efforts to confront the repercussions of the present regional situation in order to reduce its impacts on the region and its people.
“Such factors, which are the pillars of the unique GCC relations, have been a bulwark against the ambitions of those who sold illusions and promoted chaos that has destroyed the ‘spring of development’,” HRH Prime Minister said.
