Al Wefaq Society member arrested

A member of Al Wefaq Islamic Society was held over accusation of inciting others to break laws.
Majeed Milad conducted a political symposium in which, he allegedly urged the attendees to violate the public demonstration laws.
Milad was the head of the Capital Municipal Council for eight years till last year when it was scrapped.
The Capital Prosecution said in a statement the accused was questioned following a complaint against him.
"The accused was questioned and confronted with a recording of his remarks before being ordered to be remanded in police custody, pending further investigations," the statement read, but without identifying him by his name.
"The defendant has been accused of instigating others to break the law," the Public Prosecution concluded in the statement
