KHK MMA will join Bahrain Sports Day

Manama  Khalid Hamad Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts (KHK MMA) organisation will take part in the first-ever ‘Bahrain Sports Day’ on February 7 which features a wide variety of sports activities, demonstrations, performances, and giveaways!

Organised in line with the GCC National Olympic Committees’ decision to host a unified day of sports and entertainment across the entire Gulf. The multi-sporting event is set to cover all four governorates of the Kingdom in an attempt to promote fitness and health-enhancing physical activities, with The Sports Village in Riffa announced as the main venue.

More than 50 activities are scheduled for this action-packed one day national event and allows fans to engage in interactive, sports–themed activities, entertainment, and contests for all levels and ages.

KHK MMA members across Bahrain will be taking part in the national celebration of sport in support of the ambitious and committed efforts to spread and take MMA to a different level.

They have been hard at work with preparations for the event and have finalized the day’s schedule with a full day of entertainment which includes live festivities, MMA challenges, fight techniques and a MMA live action fight tournament.

The day starts at 10am with live on site face-off’s at the MMA tournament public weigh ins, followed by an early training session alongside your favourite KHK MMA instructors.

At 1pm, MMA Gyms from across Bahrain will meet to demonstrate some of the most exciting martial arts techniques. At 2pm, you will have to opportunity to put your skills and endurance to the test and challenging some of the best KHK MMA professional MMA fighters. Then at 4pm, Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation (BMMAF) organises a fight tournament where some of the best talent from MMA schools of Bahrain showcase their skills inside the cage. Participating athletes include 18-year-old Nayef Fekry, KHK MMA Yousef Mohammed at 14, and Maher Khaled (18) and Yousef Waleed (16) who both took part in the latest “Bahrain Vs. India” MMA event.

That’s not all, you will have a chance to get 50pc off the next Brave event entry, in addition to one week free training at Bahrain MMA, where you get the chance to learn from professional fighters who have mastered the philosophy of martial arts.

Bahrain Sports Day is a chance to celebrate the power of sport and promote the culture of fitness in Bahrain and the GCC. A dedicated micro-site will be launched allowing visitors to explore seven different sections full of up-to-date data covering all aspects of the event in addition to news, multi-media content and live feed.
