Labour Ministry plans to initiate partnership with NGOs
Manama : Bahrain Society for Strategic Planning (BSFSP) Chairman Dr Ibrahim Al Dossary has stressed the importance of coordination with the Ministry to promote the culture of strategic planning among public and private sector.
Al Dossary along with other members was discussing the current and future programmes of BSFSP in a meeting with Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan here yesterday.
During the meeting, the Minister commended the efforts of the BSFSP and its role in the local community. He also stated that the Labour and Social Development Ministry had developed an ambitious plan to initiate partnership with the civil society institutions and coordinate with them by providing support through the NGO’s Directorate.
He reiterated the government’s unwavering support to all civil society institutions and keenness to remove all obstacles facing them. The BSFSP chairman expressed thanks and appreciation to the Minister for his efforts to make the NGOs transparent and committed to laws and regulations.
