Cars catch fire at Salmabad garage
Manama: Civil defense officials managed to control the fire that broke in a parking garage in the Salmabad, to prevent its extension to other vehicles nearby.
The Deputy General Director of the General Directorate of Civil Defence explained that, the main operations room received a tip after which they reached the site on time and doused the fire.
He pointed out that the fire broke out in one of the parked cars, and resulted in damage to about 6 other cars, while the fire did not result for any casualties.
He also noted that investigations were underway to clarify the circumstances of the fire and its causes.
