Man gets jail in drug case
A man, in his fifties, accused of selling drugs, has been sentenced to five years in prison along with BD3000 fine.
The defendant was arrested in a sting operation after an officer in plain clothes made contact with him. He reportedly agreed to sell BD180 worth of shabu to the officer and they set up a meeting near the convicted man’s house.
Anti drug squads also seized BD425 stashed underneath a fish tank in his house.
