ICTGC holds first meeting
Manama: The National Information and Communication Technology for eGovernance Committee (ICTGC) in governmental entities held its first meeting, on Sunday.
The meeting chaired by Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) Chief Executive Mohammed Ali AlQaed was the first following the re-formation of the committee.
Following the issuance of the new formation, the ICTGC now comprises members who represent seven governmental entities - including AlQaed as the Chairman and Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa from iGA as Vice Chairman. The committee showcased, during the meeting, outcomes of the IT Reduction of Recurring Expenditures Task Force.
