Minister opens Asdal Gulf Inn

Manama: Asdal Gulf Inn, a four-star deluxe boutique hotel in Seef District was inaugurated yesterday night.

Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani opened the hotel in the presence of VIPs, top businessmen, key government officials and other invited guests.  The property is owned by Asdal Hotels and operated by Gulf Hotels Group. 

The hotel has four floors and 89 rooms. Standard features of the rooms include LCD TV with cable channels, free Wi-Fi internet access, nespresso machine, electronic in-room- safe and more. 

The hotel also houses a conference room which caters to small and mid-size events, restaurants, business centre, gift shop as well as a health and fitness section.  

Speaking to DT News Gulf Hotels Group Chairman Farouk Almoayyed said that the hotel positions itself to attract businessmen. 

“Businessmen prefer small hotels and Seef District is a good location for them so we will definitely attract business people,” he said. 

When asked if he is keen on attracting families to the hotel, he said “Yes, if we can, but families want apartments while businessmen want rooms.” 

“It is a lovely boutique hotel, we have distinguished ourselves. We have with us the renowned Gulf Hotel service which really distinguishes us,” he added.
