Bahrain’s property market passed BD134 million in July, lifting sales since January above BD795m as the strong run in deal numbers carried into the summer.

Figures from the Survey and Land Registration Bureau show 988 sales were completed during the month, up from over 857 in June and 770 in May.

The rise follows a busy first quarter, when 6,418 property deals were recorded, up 29 pc from a year earlier and the highest first-quarter count since 2022, according to market data. Their value stood at BD283.86m, little changed from the same period last year.

Since the start of 2026, over 5,900 sales have been logged. The bureau has also handled over 17,000 transactions across its services, including more than 11,000 general registrations.

April remains the busiest month by sales count, with 1,129 deals. January and February each recorded over 900, while March fell to about 340.

The market entered 2026 after a sharp rise last year. Property deals reached BD1.6bn in 2025, up 51.6 pc, while the number of transactions grew 19.8 pc to 29,777.

The bureau’s latest daily update showed a further BD3.2m in property sales.
